Friday Fun...Continued
We decided to camp one last time before summer's end--in the backyard.
Phil and the kids put the tent up while I was inside the house and on the phone with my sister. Now that's my kind of camp out!
Phil led the camp sing-along.
I roasted mini marshmallows on toothpicks over candlelight.
Then the kids were off to bed with a chapter read from Little House on the Prairie.

What a nice tent you have. I love your creativity! I think even I could go on that kind of camping trip with my "bum" leg.

Yes, everyone slept--the boys until 7:30, and the girls until 8:30. That's better than when they sleep in the house!
Very creative way to do marshmallows! I'll have to remember that for a gloomy winter night.
