We had the pleasure of visiting Chris and his sweet family in the bay area on our way back up to Lake County.
A highlight of our visit was a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory!

Here's what was waiting for us back in Spokane!
I was hesitant to take our kids to the Grand Canyon (mostly because of the stories I've heard of their father's visits there as a boy).
We had a great time, though--nobody fell in.
We camped for two nights at a local KOA, headed south to visit Adam and Britnie in Mesa, then on to Tuscon to stay the weekend with Tim and Carmen.
The girls received American Girl dolls for their birthday this year. One of our stops was American Girl Place. They enjoyed shopping there with their cousins, Morgan and Lindsay.
Phil and I rented this house in Grass Valley and stayed one week while his parents and Corinne watched the kids.
Then we were off to Disneyland!

After graduation, we stayed over and spent the weekend in Seattle. One of the things we all enjoyed was a Ferry ride in the Puget Sound. The weather was perfect!
The kids loved exploring all the decks on board the Ferry.

All good things must end...goodbyes are so hard for my kids. They love their cousins so much.

Phil graduated from PA school in August! Woo hoo!!!

When we returned home, Phil spent about a month preparing for his PA national exam. Early one morning (at about 6 a.m., in fact) we found out that HE PASSED, so we went to Chaps for breakfast to celebrate!

I can't believe I drove a tractor today.
I drove to Uncle Donnie's House to get buckets of water.
And then to our baby house back yard to water the grapes.
Then back to Gramma's house.
And around the circle...about 10 times. I wanted to send a video so that you would know that I was not just sitting on the tractor, but the file was too big.
We had a great time at Kids' Day in the Park!

I'm sad that I didn't get more pictures of the wonderful day we spent with our friends on the 4th of July!
We had a few of the families from our Friday preschool group over and had such a great time! The kids made flags, then we had a little parade around the backyard.
We're so blessed to know these sweet families.
