Snowed In
We've had so much snow within the last 24 hours that our church services were cancelled this morning. We had our own little Sunday school class here at home instead.
First the kids listened to a story about a brother and a sister sharing with each other.
Next we had our Bible story about the little boy who shared his lunch of bread and fish with Jesus.

The kids made these baskets with fish and bread for craft time.
Then Mommy shared what was in her lunchbox--goldfish crackers and slices of bread. (Yes, I'm still in my jammies!)
Then we were off to play outside in the snow! Phil made a great hill for sledding out of our old snowfort.

Jen, our pastor just asked for sunday school teachers. Can we fly you in once a week?
I'm still wishing for a big snow storm here, but it warmed up a bit, so I don't think it is coming.
Sounds like you had a wonderful worship time at home.
Ohhhh! Wonderful! How precious! We didn't get snowed in today, but the wind has blown 3 nights & 2 days non-stop and everything in our yard is rearranged. There's not a carport left standing in the neighborhood. Church was great though! Jenny sang the most beautiful, touching song about heal the wound but leave the scar...what a blessing! Corinne had 10 in children's church. Then a group of us went to TNT using Pastor's birthday as the excuse.
My kids would sooo love to have some of your snow!!
Jenny, you are am amazing mom! I love to read all of your stories!
