...and I love Caleb's rosy cheeks! We're really excited to see that Lily ventured out also. But it's Jared & Grace that look like they are really enjoying the sport of it. Poor Phil, that's a lot to shovel (even with Caleb's help). Good thing he's off school for a few weeks.
Yes, It's a good thing Phil's off of school for awhile! He started shoveling our driveway at 8:30 in the morning, and didn't finish until dinner time. Here's why:
Since he's off of school, and we had nowhere to be, he helped half a dozen neighbors with their driveways. Then he disappeared for a couple of hours when he spotted 2 fire engines down the street. Somebody had had a stroke, but with all the snow, the paramedics couldn't get the patient out the door and back to the ambulance. Phil helped shovel a path for them. Then the ambulance got stuck in the snow up the street, so he helped with that, too.
I guess this entire comment could have been a post of its own. :)
Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places. Surely I have a delightful inheritance. ~Psalm 16:5-6

Mom,
Are you talking about the rosy cheeks in the last picture? That's Caleb.
