congratulation, boys!

They're happy about the new orange belts, but not the post-ceremony photo shoot.

We're so proud of them!!!

mops

Lily set this table in her room before bedtime tonight so we could play MOPS in the morning. She told me, "I want to be a lady at your table."

orange belts

Jared and Caleb tested for their orange belts last Thursday night! They each had to break a board to pass this test. I was able to get a good shot of Caleb, but there were too many people in the way when Jared broke his board. :(

Here's Caleb right before he took his turn. He told me he was "a little nervous."

Way to go, Boys!

They'll get their new, orange belts this Saturday at the belt ceremony!

On May 22, the boys will participate in their first Break-A-Thon--a benefit for Shriner's Hospital for Children. If you would like to donate money to sponsor them, please let me know. They'll receive money for every board they break (a maximum of 5 boards per student).

awana grand prix

Yesterday Phil took the kids to race their cars at the AWANA Grand Prix. Lily was sick, so Jared, Gracie and Caleb raced her car.

It was such an exciting morning for them. Jared's car won First Place for speed in the combined class of Cubbies and Sparks!

Gracie's car won Second Place for speed in that same class!

Jared's car was super fast...

Caleb and Gracie were so proud of him!

Gracie was happy to see her car win a heat.

Great job, kids!

oklahoma

It was difficult to pick only a few pictures to post, so here are about 60. :)

I'm one proud Auntie. And he's just about the cutest little thing ever!

kites

The girls made little kites in school today and had such a great time flying them outside!

new shirts, new dresses

I was able to spend last week in Oklahoma with Lizzie and her family (I'll post pictures soon!). The kids like it when I bring back surprises when I go on trips. I found a few things for them at Old Navy, like these Star Wars t-shirts for the boys.

The girls got pink and purple dresses and shoes which, in the '80's, were referred to as jellies.

And every girl wearing a purple dress and purple shoes needs lots of purple eye shadow...agreed?
